i need some help with chmod (ing ?) how to chmod to 0777 via ftp i have no idea how to do it

I have no idea what you're asking. Could you try to be a bit more clear?

I use Ipswitch WS_FTP Pro 7.6.1 and to achieve it you right click the item/folder select commands then "chmod".

Then you have options to "Read" "Execute" etc. Select them all and that will modify the value to 777. Or just enter the value in the text field: "777" "a+rx" etc.

i use IE 6....When you ul u can just copy and paste.

right click on the file in the ftp folder, and select all the checkboxes....this is 0888 i think, and if ur just installing the software this board uses is good enough.....noone is really gonna hack it :)
