Ok, I think its better to be smart but act the fool, because you're a big surprise like that.

Better to have something to settle for because you won't get your hopes up for nothing.

Its better to be more mature in your early life so you can be be mentally prepared for life and not stand around while other people are grown up and complain about life.

These are some good questions.

I think you would have to live them to know.

I think you would have to live them to know.

A fair point.

It is unlikely though that you would be able to do so as, I think anyway, you fit into one category or another. Sometimes the category you fit into is not the one you would prefer.

Suppose I am just looking for peoples own individual perceptions of what would be the ideal, if you get me. :)

What do I miss from early childhood? Innocence and awe. Not that I am guilty now.

I am afraid gone is the innocence and it is now 'awe for F*K sake ref'. Especially on a Saturday. :)

or any other day to be truthful.

These have been on my mind of late....note to self.....get cable

Is it better to be smart and act the fool
or
to be a fool and act clever?
.....and which will get you further in life?

Is it better to have unrealistic unattainable dreams
or
to settle for something less than you truly want?
......and which would leave you the happpier?

Is it better to be mature too early in your life
or
to hang on to your 'yoof' as long as possible?
.....and which will leave you missing more of lifes 'experiences'?

and one last one...what one thing do you miss most from your early childhood....obviously aimed at those that are not in it at the time of asking?

Feedback, perhaps even some sensible, appreciated. :)

Is the answer 3? It's 3 isn't it :ermm:

From my early childhood, I miss playing with toys. Don't do that anymore.

It's much better to act the fool but to be clever, than acting clever but being dim.

Don't remember the rest of the questions :toolazytoscrollup:

Edit: It's definitely 3 tho'.

Oh stop being so melodramatic, and just take up the clarinet. :D

Actually, this thread may prove to be essential reading for me.
I need to do an essay on which events are life changing, and how to deal with them. Also why certain things drive us over the edge or make us rethink our life structure. I was gonna base the whole thing on fear, eg; death, opinions, worthlessness, pressure...

How am I meant to know? I've never been married.
