Do you have to have a dvd player to play kvcd files?

Do I need to have a dvd player to play these files? KVCD movie files.

Hello, This is Gre and no you don't u can play them from your computer just download VLC Media Player (VideoLan) and then play them it is the best player for the job but I would recommed u play them on a dvd player that is when u will get the best quality with them.

If u dont want to spend alot of money on a DVD player get a APEX from wallmart, they run about $25.00 and will play kvcd and vcd.

KVCD look terrible on a PC be warned because of the amplitude on your monitor

they actually look REALLY terrible on your PC, so much so, i still use SVCD :P
