After the "power" thread where hobbes wanted the power to revoke driving licenses of people that irritated him i recommend if he ever relocates he should move to Arizona.

SCOTTSDALE - A week of wet weather that led to record-breaking water rescues also may lead to possible charges under the state's so-called stupid motorists law.

The driver of a Hummer, Paul Zalewski, reportedly ignored warnings and went around barricades to ford floodwaters.

But "Hummers are made to float," said Maricopa County Sheriff's spokesman Lt. Paul Chagolla. "Other people told him not to go in there, and he did it anyway."

Zalewski, 47, was cited for reckless driving. If he is found guilty of the charge in Cave Creek Municipal Court, he will be prosecuted under the state's stupid motorist law, which requires drivers to reimburse the state for the cost of rescues that could have been prevented.

Stupidity is stupidty, breaking at a green light is being a chick.

There are overly aggressive drivers and complete pussies,
I support neither.

You just have to drive with "court vision", which is an understanding of what goes on around you and anticipates when and where people might do stupid things. You should be anticipating these stupid things and acting accordingly, not just slamming on your breaks at every noise.

Yet again tonight, a stupid woman breaked in heavy traffic and got hit because she was being hysterical and not logical. I see this almost every night.

You either "get it" or you don't. Those that don't, shouldn't be driving.

hummers float? cool!

i decided that when i rule the world every crime will have the death sentence. who would risk stealing your car or even drop litter if they face certain death on getting caught? then if they do anyway, they die and can't do it again

Yes, breaking for no reason is both stupid and dangerous, but so is driving so close to the vehicle in front, and a such a speed that when they break suddenly you are unable to avoid hitting them!

Surely the driver who's car collided with said womans car was also driving dangerously or blissfully unaware of braking distances.
