A lesson in Pharmacology

This one gave me a side ache! I just had to share it.

A Lesson in Pharmacology

In pharmacology all drugs have 2 names, a trade name and a generic name.

For example, the trade name of Tylenol also has a generic name of acetaminophen.

Aleve is also naproxen. Amoxil is also called amoxicillin and Advil is also called ibuprofen.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of mycoxafloppin. Also considered were mycoxafailin, mydixadrupin, mydixarizin, mydixadud, dixafix and of course, ibepokin.

yes I do hate the different names, I worked as a pharmacy tech at Walgreen but what I hated the most was the bitchy people that would come in. Old people complaining about missing one pill and the dumbest people trying to scam us for codeine or Ritalin
