What is this world comming to? I go out, ride my bike 1000 miles just to buy half life 2 and they say i have to be 17 or have some 17 with you to give you permission to buy it. :mad3: You can drive at 16 but you cant buy a god dam game?!?!?! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And especially at 15, its mature enough... It makes me want to kill in real life instead of a video game. ITS FUCKING GHEY. :frusty: :mad3:

different laws difference countries maybe???

15 it is here you have to be for the M rated games

funny thing is in this country leisure suit and manhunt were banned

how Ironic in the US they probably let you buy and gun and kill everyone at age 16 but you can't buy a video game they blame the violence on video games

I'm 17. Just give me some money so I can go get my State I.D. and ill buy you Half Life 2. That is if you wanna deal with Steam. :shifty:

Or you can just go without the ID as most people think I look alot older. And weigh less. :)

Actually you have to be 18 to buy a rifle and at least 21 to buy a handgun in the us. That doesnt mean you cant get firearms other ways though.

I think it depends on what store you get it from. They're also kicking around a law that would make it impossible for -17 year olds to buy games rated M.

Can't you try another store?
