I still use them in my car because it`s got a crappy tape player,but i`ve just installed adobe audition 1.5 on my computer this weekend so i can turn some of them into mp3`s. :shifty:

i was thinking of inventing a cassette recorder drive for PCs, that would fit the front like floppy or CDR drives.

EDIT it sure would make encoding to and from cassette easier (i have some demo tapes i'd like to convert to mp3 but it's a PITA to set up the line-in crap)

I find that having ALL capabilities play-back-wise is....wise.

Hell, I still have a very nice Tandberg reel-to-reel, though it is stashed in my closet.

$150???? FFS you can get a normal dvd rom drive for less than 1/3 what they're after.

No I don't. That long strip of tape can be useful. :D
