hey how the hell do you get it to load the GUI?
(i seem to be stuck in the bash shell or whatever it is)
i did the full install of 10.0...with KDE...
but i am lost at command prompt stuff :P
Tip: if you've just started using linux, try easier distros before going for slackware or gentoo, 'k.
Also, what have you tried, is x running and all that?

nevermind i got it....
anyone else looking for the same info, heres what i did:
-log in as root at the command prompt
-type xorgconfig (xf86config possibly if you have an older slackware)
-follow the prompts
-after thats done, to start the GUI, type startx
link to the info that got me goin (http://www.bitbenderforums.com/vb22/showthread.php?postid=313121)
some further editing needs to be done to get it to start in GUI by default...
will post when i get a successful edit :P
So you didn't have x running then.
