Videocd on Dvd?

I was wondering if there was a way to put a videocd format on dvd.
I have 2 players 1 will play mpeg-mpeg2 right off of Dvd-r the other 1 won't,just videocd supervideocd.

Most video files are 1gig+,don't really want to put on cds "not pratical for me"

Anybody know of any program that can do something like this?
