K i just bought a ps2 not the slim one but about a month before it came out and it came with the network adapter already installed in the box but i got a modchip from my older ps2 which was a no solder v5,6,7 and i need to know if this chip will go into it. i just opened it up but the disc try is covering the ribbon wires underneath and there is a few other ribbon wires going from the try to the board underneath and i dont want to unplug them so if anyone knows an easier way to install it id really like to know :S thnx
