does anybody know how to play Halo 2 Online without the offical X-box online pack? I have a wireless router that i could connect to my xbox. It would seem that the only connection you need is an ethernet cable. But you would probably need some software to connect to a community using the same unofficial setup.

Is there such a setup available where I could just use my pc and modem to connect my xbox to an online gaming community?

yeah i hav used both of them, they are good, but you have to run it through your computer to do it though. Basically the computer hooks up to the internet and brings the other boxes in and then makes it look like they are on the local network, so your xbox plays as if you are doing a lan game. It isnt the easiest way , but it works.

Underground LOL

The creaters of Gran Turismo recommend Xlink Kai, becuase they didnt add online play to it.

You can. They don't check your Xbox. I don't even think they have the ability nor care.

It simply is a "system link" through the internet.

It's as if you connected 2 Xbox's on different TV's in your house.

yes they are legal, and yes you can play back up games. As I have said it is basically you playing a lan party.
