Fixing currupt .rar files.????

How do you fix a currupt .rar files .When i`m extracting the .avi it says that a cirtain one in currupt and it`s un able to carry on extracting it.I`m gonna try and download it again but if anybody knows a fix for this it would be greatly appriciated as i don`t want keep downloading it. :ph34r:

if the rar has a recovery file you just open up the rar and click the repair button, otherwise there's no way to fix it

what program did you use to download the files?

when I use IRC and it got corrupted files I check if there is a torrent site which has the same files. I copy all the rar files from my IRC folder into the torrent folder then I let my bittorrent client recheck my files. ;)

What file is it? If one of us has it we can create whats called "Par2 repair blocks" they will scan the rar's and repair them to the state at which our rar's are at, which is perfect, therefor repairing them.
