When a mod moves a thread from one forum to another (like if it was posted in the wrong section) they should leave the link in the forum so the original poster can find their thread...

for example this thread: http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/showthread.php?p=1010090
was moved from "everything related to the board" to the kazaa lite section. The original poster might not be able to find that thread later. ;)

ya. If i was new to the forum and my thread disappeared i'd probably have no idea where to find it.

I generally leave the link in the original forum. *shrug* Guess other people do it other ways. ;)

Yeah whenever I move a thread, I leave a redirect in the original forum, so the poster doesn't get lost. Unless I move the thread into the trash of course.

I agree with Roz.

But it's pretty easy to find with a simple search.

How many n00bs are gonna bother to search when chances are the question has already been answered hundreds of times in different threads. Im my opinion the search on IPB was much better as i use to be able to find 1 post i made in a thread about a bin & cue guide. But now it doesnt find it
