Another Windows Annoyance

Ok, I have issues with my view settings in explorer. Let's say I set a folder to show my items as icons and arrange icons to show in groups.

All is fine for a while, but low and behold, the settings revert back to showing just as icons in an alphabetical format. Why does it stay saved the way I set them sometimes and in others go back to whatever Windows wants to arrange my folder items? Thank you very much for the future 411.

XP right? Yes, it's very annoying. Just as annoying is it changing your "My Music" folder to a picture folder. It's nice to know when I'm browsing mp3s I have instant one click access to order prints online. :lol:

PML. I know what you mean man. Fucking OS makes me upset. Dont get me wrong, I like that XP, but needs some help.

I read a fix for this here (http://www.broadbandreports.com/faq/5728) Have not tried it yet, but will soon.
