ok, ive just noticed that in my profile it says my local time is 9:21am but actually its 5:21am in the uk, i also checked a few other ppls and they are 4 or 5 hours out, was just wondering if this was a problem connected to to forum going down.

And yes i checked that my time zone was set to GMT +-0hrs

anyone have any ideas.

thanx

Must be a temporary bug Mr. Stoi. I suggest you notify the mods right away.

I just looked at the time in my profile and to be right i had to change mine from GMT-5 (USA eastern time) to GMT+2 (which according to the time setting thingy is for south africa)..
Something is definitely wrong with the MySQL/PHP/database functions pertaining to time stuff

If any of you guys from the UK want the time back to normal, just change it to GMT - 5 Hours (USA & Canada)

I'm from the UK and had to change it GMT - 4 hrs. Although even before the recent problems the board was an hour out because of the clocks going forward last week.

You needed to click on the "Is daylight savings time in effect?" box, and it would of changed automatically (sp)

My time is five hours off and it set for my time zone. Now heres the question *does it really matter?* the couple of boards i'm on almost never have the right time.

The problem is the clock of the server .. it's 4 hours wrong atm. I adjusted the time of the board now .. but when the server time is correct again the board time will be wrong again .. so don't be surprised if that happens  .

For some reason mine is showing an hour fast now, no big deal, I can adjust the forum settings to fix it, I'm just wondering if I'm the only one?

You're not the only one :) Well as You said not a big deal.
It's just 2 seconds of settings for Us so it's nothing to fight about :)

RPerry, I think you'll be even more confused tomorrow. Don't you guys there have the daylight savings thing coming tonight?.

Serious: have you tried unchecking/checking the daylight savings box under board settings?

It works for me now, so just let us know when will Jon fix the server clock.

Daylight Savings time begins tonight?? in that case the time would be right then, so I won't make any ajustments, and my pc clock will adjust itself at 02:00 sunday morning ;)

Do you have the 'is daylight saving time in effect' thingy checked??
It should be since we're in dst now and that fixed it for me, cept now the board is in 24hr time but i can live with that though as long as it's the right time
