i need a way to transfer large files to friends at very high rates.
most p2p programs just use like 1% of my bandwith.
How can i transfer using my full bandwith (using comcast cable).

In general anything but network apps should do it...

WASTE v1.5 beta 3

Secure, encrypted p2p file-sharing. Basically, you and your friends can create a decentralized darknet. Works awesomely as an underground filesharing network on a college campus, too. :D

WASTE currently provides the following services:
*Instant Messaging
*Group Chat
*File browsing/searching
*File transfer

To learn about this program's interesting history (like how it was coded by the Gnutella guy), click here. (http://p2pnet.net/story/1295)

And here's WASTE's new home at sourceforge.net. (http://waste.sourceforge.net)

on uploads it depends more on other side then u, the person who is reciving the data should have good connection to use ur max upload rate. if they have 56k and u got a 32kb upload rate they wont be able to get 32kb out of ur upload, they will max at 4kb.

Azureus (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/) has a built in tracker (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/faq.php#17) which would allow you to upload to your friends as fast as you can upload or they can download [whichever is slower]
