I'm Trying to post a few verifieds over in movieworld but the filenames have [] containing tags in them which messes up the link. Is there a way for me to post them without screwing up the link?
Cheers.

Can you give me an example??

Wrap it in [QUOTE] tags so I can view it e in its naked dirty form

Ok for example:

.xvid.avi|145713152|1940690da
7a2b0bd4699b175d8b3bcb9|]201/1ACX08 Peter, Peter, Caviar Eater (ed2k://|file|Family_Guy_-_2x01_-_Peter_Peter_Caviar_Eater.
(DVD).SChiZO.[www.the-realworld.de)

Becomes:

.xvid.avi|145713152|1940690da
7a2b0bd4699b175d8b3bcb9|]201/1ACX08 Peter, Peter, Caviar Eater (ed2k://|file|Family_Guy_-_2x01_-_Peter_Peter_Caviar_Eater.
(DVD).SChiZO.[www.the-realworld.de)

because of the [] tags in [www.the-realworld.de].

Any ideas?

If your already downloaded or are downloading the file with eMule, just go to your "Transfers" or "Shared Files" view and rightclick the file you want and select "Copy ed2k Links to Clipboard", and it will look like so:

ed2k://|file|Snd-Ultraiso7.2Xgeneric.Patch.zip|6635|5B4B46BCB985528AC8B1E484BD09D279|/

Add the bit to the front like I showed you in the other thread where you asked, do the same for the end, add a descriptive filename, and close it

The problem I'm having is with the actual filename.

If I put in the " bracket in it.

Family_Guy_-_2x01_-_Peter_Peter_Caviar_Eater.
(DVD).SChiZO.[www.the-realworld.de[u]].xvid.avi

basically you have done everything correct, you just need to add the quotes

filename (ed2k hash)

Edit: in your original example the forward slash is missing at the end of the ed2k hash, and line breaks have been added in the code

it should look like this: (without a space at the beginning)

[ url="ed2k://|file|Family_Guy_-_2x01_-_Peter_Peter_Caviar_Eater.(DVD).SChiZO.[www.the-realworld.de].xvid.avi|145713152|1940690DA7A2B0BD4699B175D8B3BCB9|/"]201/1ACX08 Peter, Peter, Caviar Eater[/URL]

201/1ACX08 Peter, Peter, Caviar Eater (ed2k://|file|Family_Guy_-_2x01_-_Peter_Peter_Caviar_Eater.(DVD).SChiZO.[www.the-realworld.de].xvid.avi|145713152|1940690DA7A2B0BD4699B175D8B3BCB9|/)

you could just rename your file.
it won't change the hash info.
