I saw the empty pages, I pressed F5 and they were gone

Could the team take a long look at this please.

Obviously j2 losing all his posts can't just be shrugged off - as it appears to be - because it matters. Now it looks like all of Hobbes' are gone too.

This needs to be addressed NOW.

I'am talking about this right now with Brian.Cheers, IKE. I know it's really late where you are too.

Obviously someone is doing this malevolently. The security hole needs to be closed and the forum may as well be taken offline until it's found and patched.

Atm we dont think the board is hacked. Two prominant, vocal, opinionated, members have their posts systematically deleted and you think the forum is not hacked?

I don't think anyone on the current team would do this but what you're suggesting is that it must be an inside job - 'cause these sure as hell aren't random account deletions.

I'm 100% sure that NO admin/mod removed the posts.

This forum is backed up several times per day. Yes?

Please restore it to how it was before hobbes and j2 had their posts deleted. While the forum is offline use the time to ensure that the current software is totally up-to-date and has all the VB patches implemented.

Save all logs and the current database on a separate system and continue investigating (offline) to find out exactly what's happened.

That is the only sensible solution.

Close the board down now and sort the problem. It's that simple.

If I was him (the hacker) I'd delete Withcheese's posts next.
