just wondering how 32 bit operating systems adjusts to 64-bit.

does a 64bit 2ghz chip emulate 2X 32bit 2ghz or 1X 32 4ghz or what?


i doubt this will change my life but i'm curious

I think it runs it in 32-bits, period.

Nothing fancy. :unsure: But I may be wrong.


It's better than an xp processor at the same clock, but that's 'cos it's a more effective processor.

It'll be sweet with a 64-bit OS tho'.
