It's my mate's 30th birthday.

On sunday. :unsure:Well, there we go. Tell her that your birthday mate told you to say it for a bet and that you only did it because it was his birthday.

She'll probably give you that hummer for free because all girls love a bloke that is loyal to their mates over and above what anyone else might think

No they don't. It's a corollary of the 4th law of thermodynamics.

Girlfriend comes in, mates come out.

But you're probably using teh rod again.

Slightly dirty, faded or spoiled from being used as a display in a shop.

Shop-soiled is how some blokes refer to a lady that's had a lot of partners.

Kinda the female equivilent of stud.

In America, a man who has been with many ladies is a "stud", which is a compliment.

A woman who has been with many men, because that is very easy, is a slut/whore/douchebag, which is an extreme insult.

These are the double standards we keep.

Tell her you are sorry, and not to worry, she will probably scrub up nicely. :shifty:

Now, depending upon ones job post, and who has senority, or a higher rank would determine whether a regular apology is required, or if you need to do some SERIUOS brown nosing. If your coworker is equal and apology will suffice, but, if she's your manager, then I suggest you start grovelling the moment you set foot in the office.

You might offer to give her a "shop rinse", or something.

Should be more pleasant than groveling; might even amount to an investment in future entertainment.

Unless she really is amongst the most furrowed, rutted and sown women on earth, in which case you've most probably understated her condition.
