Ok this is a problem I have been noticing for awhile now and it's bugging the hell out of me. Well, you know how the 3rd game in the Monkey Island series has voice acting in it right? Well, every time I download it, IT HAS NO FUCKING VOICES. I have not idea what's the problem. It doesn't matter how many different programs I use to download it, no matter how many different people I download it FROM, it still always ends up with no fucking voice. And yes before you ask, I clicked the voice option in menu, so thats not it. I mean did Lucas Arts put a bug in all the P2P programs not to allow any voice acting to be enabled? I don't know what's going on. Any help with be appreciated, thank you.

make sure you get a proper iso. often all the fmv and music is taken out to save space on installers

Use ScummVM (http://scummvm.sourceforge.net/) to play LucasArts point n' click adventure games.

Djitma - Harsh. The Monkey Island games were hugely popular in thier time.

i think that might have to do with, um, problems relating to sound drivers in Win2000/WinXP maybe... not that the voice files are actually MISSING. some old games require proper emulation of a soundblaster 16 card, some old-ish cd games require that you have the cd-rom drive connected to your soundcard, some old DOS & Windows games just don't work correctly at all in Win2000/WinXP (except thru an emulator like DosBox, ScummVM, etc).

so yeah, try uNz[i]'s advice and use ScummVM.
