Jump supernodes a couple of times. Let Kazaa run for awhile. Turn on the accelorator ;)

15% you still use kazaa? i thought you used something else :/ . If you want individual music files, then i'd recommend ares. If not then i'd go with bittorrent...

If you're using a router, you have to run KANAT. Under tools.
That usually speeds things up and more search results.

Or try switching to an alternate port and forward that on your router.

I agree, I stopped using it a long time ago, too many fake mp3 files. Limewire is much better

BitTorrent slow? lol!

Then you don't have your client set proper or your are jumping on poorly seeded files. It's not a leecher's protocol though, you have to upload to download.

is there any topic about bittorent under firewall & proxy server. Bittorent is not working in my place. I'm not sure what else to do to make it work.

Bittorrent is not slow at all if used properly. In fact, for me its the fastest one, even if you canīt get connectable. I believe kazaa is messed up. For music I like to use limeware.

Try Emule if you want good speeds.

Using K-Lite ......

I'm going through a wireless broadband router, hard cabled to the desktop, wireless to the notebook (K-Lite is on desktop only. None are on the notebook). I set up KaNAT to Auto-Detect On Startup; is that the correct setting? The Accelorator is on.

These other programs that are mentioned, what safeguards are built into them? I use K-Lite (v2.7 RC1) because of the built in safeguards, but damned if I can get something to download.
