Reading that report, it doesn't seem likely that a tsunami will result from it.

They're saying that any tsunami wouldn't be detected until 2-3 hours after the quake.

The quake occurred at 11:09 a.m. ET (1609 GMT), and is considered a "great" earthquake, the largest of seven grades.
