I was wandering what everyone thoughts of techno do you like it or hate it?

Not being one who really cares for rap, when I had my amps hooked up in my car I chose to listen to Techno-Bass. Never really had a favorite song, but liked the group Bass 305

Don't know whether Frankie Goes To Hollywood could be called Techno. :lol:

I used to listen to House/Techno (it was pretty much the same thing!) a lot in the 1980's when it was almost exclusively made in Detroit, Chicago and Europe. I think after about 1991 there seemed to be a drop in quality and the Techno genre became more and more splintered. Nowadays there seems to be hundreds of different sorts of Techno, Trance or whatever.

I think this has led to an overall drop in quality and a fractured "club scene" with no general direction or appeal. Well, that and the Criminal Justice Bill and a prevalence of bad drugs!!

It'll never be same again!! :(

I'm an old skool raver and techno these days is too commercial.Was fun way back when everything was underground and dark but nowadays its over played, over hyped, crap. :)
