am i the only person who cant't watch lotr without contimplating suicide?
the first hour and a half is ok but i just cant watch the same thing for 3 hours, and may i add 3 times (all 3 movies)

I'm guessing your under the age of 18???

I say this because when I was younger that age I hated those sort of movies

hated war movies etc

then when I got older I changed and pretty much watch anything now and now when I watch a action movie like I used to love as a teen I think to myself how bad is this!

I watched it once. Some of it was well done, some of it was tedious to an extreme. I disliked the changes they made to the text but I can live with that as film/book translations always suffer in this way.

I doubt I'll ever have the time or desire to watch them again.

the point was when i was your age I used to find that sort of stuff boring as hell like LOTR for 3 hrs i think i feel asleep the first time it was in at the movies. year 2000 or 2001?? cant remember think i was too wraped up with a woman (bitch that is)

anyway yeah now I loved it

in fact i thought it was the best movie out for the 3. introduced the characters.

Two Tower good action had some Corney Dialog

and Return of the king year just great only reason it won the Oscar was coz it hadn't already won for the other 2 (academy has turns) so they had to reward Peter Jackson for the 3 movies

as for war movies, i love em, the battle scenes in LOTR are really good, but the story......ghey..... :pinch:
