Which one do you think is the best of these 3 programs. they're basically the same except for the images and name. so is one better than the others?

Giant Antispyware:

microsoft bought the source from giant, some of the people from giant went to work for ms on the antispyware proggy.

Not sure where counterspy fits into all this but it looks and scans in the same way.

I've just re-installed windows and currently don't have one (Not that it's particularly essential since I use Firefox) but I might try out that Counterspy one.

I'll be sure to report back. Stay tuned.

From the current list, Giant. However, I use Spy Sweeper, Ad-aware, and Hijackthis as well. Only problems I have anymore is with certain cookies. I still rely on spy-sweeper the most, nothing can hijack my browser ( it alerts at start-up) and it also alerts me of anything installed.

Using Counterspy now.

So far it's all rite, I think, not sure.

First time I ran it it did get like six files that had escaped spybot and adaware, but I don't think anything of it was active, just leftovers.

It finds nothing else now.

On my desktop I've been using Microsoft AntiSpyware. I like it and I think it works good.

Here on my laptop I'm using McAfee AntiSpyware. I'm only using it because it came with the computer. I'm not real big on using Norton or McAfee products. :)

Interesting never heard of it . I visited the site and a little pop up came on telling me I had 9 warning signs of adware or spyware  Probably their cookies.

I swapped from c-spy to ms antispyware, but I still kept adaware, spywareblaster and spybot. After reading about the gator thing, I'm happy that I did.

Add-aware, spybot, SpywareBlaster firefox and shoot the messenger as well as a few other and you’ll need to use them all

I use Spybot - Search & Destroy, Spywareblaster for prevention, Webroot Spy Sweeper, and run Firefox browser.

I used the Microsoft one(thought it was the same as Giant  ), until the trial ran out. Seemed like a very good program, but I as well didn't like the thought of them having the possibility of collecting my information.

I use Spybot and Adaware. I've got HijackThis, CWShredder, Kill2Me, AboutBuster, and a few other things hanging around too if I need them (haven't had to use them on my computer yet, but I've sent them to people that have had major issues). I run Firefox also. ;)

use spysweeper, adaware, spybot, and hijackthis. I have used others for hard to kill spyware, but these are the ones that I use most often. I allow spysweeper to run at start-up, it always lts me know if any programs or IE favorites have been added when I reboot.
