For some reason every time I try to get into a server to play Far Cry, for a split second it says. "Connecting.." and then it says "Kicked!" all in a nanosecond. I pached it all the way up to version 1.31 and still I am getting kicked. Can someone explain to me how I can be able to join a frigging server!

Funny you should mention far cry a friend of mine was just eerrrr trying a friends copy with a view to buying it  after he installed it and copied the disc just in case he needed to reinstall it  the copy disc would'nt play on his pc even with the right serial key  I've never came across that before, Peerzy's right though pc games drop in price faster than console games do so its worth your while just buying it if you like it, I've been down the road with copy games before which are alright for a bit of single player mission but most games are at there best online and searching for cracks is a pain the ass, plus you miss out on stuff liking seeing where you are in the league.

It is a legit cd key. It is impossible to sign in without a legit cd key. If you use generated keys, or already used ones, you cant sign into multiplayer. I have a real cd key though, and am able to sign in but when I try to connect to a server it just kicks me for some reason. Can someone help, please. This has nothing to do with pirated software.

 ? I'll just take you saying that as a joke. But is Far Cry supposed to update automatically? Because it didnt, and I thought maybe manually updating would do the trick.

I heard somewhere that turning off the internal Windows XP firewall can help if you keep getting kicked.

Yes? Anyways I did a little extra research. Keyser soze I guess summed it up. Most UBI soft games dont let you connect to a server when you have a no-cd cracked game. Sad, I'll just have to figure out how to work around that for now. Thanks everyone for your help.

Try going into unofficall servers or servers that don'tuse 'Punkbuster' as thats the thing that kicks you.

Yeah it still kicks me either way. If I make my own server, however, people are able to join and play a game with me just fine. But that isnt a good way to play now is it.
