I think Saddam exists as much as Santa Clause.

You don't actually see him (any more), just a bunch of video tapes.
Eveyone talks about him, but doesn't actually see him.
Saddam doesn't show up for his own live speech on TV.
There are a lot of fake Saddams roaming the country.
