Verifieds Section

Since the Verifieds Sections seems slow I was thinking to to have them all combined into a Verifieds Section with sub sections such as Software, Movies, Games, Music and Other which would just be the current Verified sections but just all moved into one place and each sub section renamed accordingly.

It may attract more n00bs being out in the open and build up some more traffic perhaps as sites that have little more than just Verifieds can get quite alot of traffic. I guess it could be placed just below File Sharing or even to draw more traffic just above BitTorrent may be even better then.

Anyone could browse the main section which could have pinned topics about posting guidelines and topics related to Verifieds but Guests would not be able to browse the sub sections and will still get the log in or register message as it is now. If nothing less it could make Verifieds look a little busier anyway...

well i think seperating them just makes navigating them & searching them a PITA.
more regular people might use them to if they were all contained in a top-level forum.
I'd still seperate the sections into subforums though, that way you could have releases/verifieds posted as threads and still have some organization and order to it all.

Because the poll section is a dead corner of the board if you ask me.
Never liked it or saw the good thing about it in it really. :huh:
I will make a poll in the poll section asking to remove the poll section so all polls can go back to where they should be. :P
Movie polls in movieworld,music polls in Muisicworld,....

Oh,and for the verified section,
Think it's a good idea but I would group them per app. and not per theme.
Or there should be tags used in the topic tiltle like [ed2k],[fastt],[Unet]

Or will the NZB's stay where they are?

Simply because it related to the layout of this board as in Everything related to this board which seems to make sense.

I think sub sections per theme as they are now with appropriate tags would be best.

I think for now they should stay where they are as the section still has potential growth to stand on its own considering some forums are moving to a pay structure and others may follow which may bring new traffic although if the section becomes to quiet they could be combined into the Verifieds section with tags also...

i reckon it would be good to have them as "verified and request section"

but i don't know how realistic it is to have people put [req] and [ver] or something on the threads in there, but i reckon it could make things more efficiant

Add a BT subsection, but keep verifieds as members only.

Have the Verified Section with separate subsections and also leave the links the way are now. Pretty simple.

All links go to same place.

Well Ive done the basics for now with some restructuring for a chnage of pace also. I would like those that have time to make some guides on how to post hashes and so forth and of course for those that use the networks if you can post a hash or two when you get a chance. If there are any other suggestions feel free to post them here or within the main Verifieds Section (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/f91-.html) would be best...

It's good... apart from one thing.
Why were the bookworld verifieds stuck in a 'Miscellaneous' section?
Surely we have enough book verifieds for a section of thier own.

Also, now that K-Lite is no longer as popular as it was, perhaps we should be thinking of a new board standard for the posting of verified links?
Sig2dat to be replaced by ed2k or magnet links perhaps?

I put the books there because that sections just seems very inactive having only a couple new items in quite some time although I could change it back and then create another Miscellaneous section although if so and never having been used it will be completly empty and look inactive and unused which is what I am trying to get away from and make the board have a more active appearance, this way it can have the eBooks and any other stuff that dosent fit in the other sections hopefully keeping it more active than its been. I think I will add something in the description to make a nice comprimise on this. As far as magnet or whichever feel free layout how you would want it and if you want to prepare a tutorial within the section along with it which is all the better then...

I wasnt aware you were specifying allowing only one link type as the way the section is you can link whcihever as before as long as you specify in the title with a tag such as [ed2k] to let others know which the Verified is for...
