but 1 problem its not always fast

For Start us you shood not have Norton and zonealarm runing at the same time try disableding them and if the download works then you will know

To pause the download just close the window.

When you want to resume click the link again and choose the same folder to save the file. Then it will continue. :)

Night Ass, how do you resume the download, like you said you could. I got to about 42% but then had to turn the comp off. When i restarted it, I initated BitTorrent, tryed executing the Vietcong file but it wont respond to carry on downloading it. Any suggestions ,thanks

You should just have to go to the site where the torrent link is located, click it and when Bit Torrent asks you where you want to save the file, select the folder your partial download is in. It will then check the file for a while (quite a while) and then resume from where it left off.

I had that problem too but if you get the slightly modified version of Bit Torrent (called experimental, but seems fine too me) from here (http://ei.kefro.st/projects/btclient/), it lets you limit your upload speed so it doesn&#39;t go overboard.

Well that would be cheap. Bit Torrent relies on others to upload from you to get a fast upload speed. If you choose not to let people upload from you or you make your upload speed really slow, then you&#39;re just gona make people downlaod slower and everyone suffers.

It&#39;s not cheap - it&#39;s useful just like the bandwith limiter in K-Lite is useful. Clearly you don&#39;t get massive reduction in connection performance when your upload is maxed out past it&#39;s designated speed.

Meh. If you do want to redude your upload speed I would SUGGEST that you set your speed to 20kb/s if your on DSL/Cable. If your on 56k, why the hell would you be using Bit Torrent? If you set it to somewhere below 10kb/s, everybody suffers, even you, since they can&#39;t get anything from you and you can&#39;t get anything from them, because of the small upload speed.

I did that, I redownloaded the file from the sit Night Ass provided, put it in exectly the same file as the old one, and saved it there where I had saved it before. It&#39;s not working the way you say it should do :(

You can also look into the folder where you saved it, you should see the files there.

Yes, it does the checking for existing file bit, then after its taken awhile to do that, it starts downloading from 0%. Since Ive started again now, im currently at 23%, arg lost 42% when i closed it down earlier.At the moment mines going about 32Kb/s

Thanks for Helping me Upload cos my max upload is 25k but i can upload till the cows cum home no limunt you do not need to name the cd&#39;s the bin file will have all that in side it so you just need to tell Nero to burn a Disc image O yes and for ppl that dont have Burns :lol: :lol: you can use a program named Iso Buster

By The looks of it you told it to continu the file but you told it to continu from the torrent file not the big exe file i know cos i did that one time and one time oney

Thing is though, Ive saved it to the folder, and I cant see a file getting bigger and bigger where its getting downloaded to. Does a huge 1.5 gig fiel appear once its all finished lol?

At the start yes the file got larger, but now nothing.........this is way too dam complicated for my little mind lol. Well, im just hoping it will pop up in there once its finished. It isnt supposed the get bigger. :D

You should see the file right from the beginning in the final size.

Hi there. I DL Vietcong.. Installed along w/ Game Sopy Arcade. When I go to play it, it says wrong disk inserted. How do I use the no cd crack? I used daemon tools to retrieve the bin and .cue files. But just cant play it...please help

Install went fine but i didnt try the game before I installed the v1.01 patch..(went through the menus and stuff though)

When I go to multiplayer now i just get a busy signal

Im coming to the rescue Night Ass&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;. Yeh the games mint, was fortunate to get 70kb/s downloading about 3 days ago. Well with your question there is one simple answer, one which I didnt know at first and got shit bored with going through those tunnels all dark lol. All you do is press "L", it turns your flashlight on lol, its such a irrelavant thing but made the whole level much easier. Just a word of caution Night Ass, down there in that Ho Chi Ming trail its not just a tunnel, its something much more than that....Ill leave you to find out:)
Keep on playing it, Sp is great... and Mp lol love playing on Halong Harbour with my M16 popping people off.

Also while im downloading it seems to get stuck now, it says somthing like "piece failed checks, re-downloading". Didnt bother me to much cause it was re-downloading but it does it all the time, like "failed at 9:15" then again "failed at 9:17".

There is a patch out there for v1.01..I had the same problem for multiplayer gettin the busy signal and all that. Just go to the official vietcong site and go through the threads in the technical section and thats where i found it(found it on 4-10-03) this was the only patch I have found for 101 that actually worked.

I&#39;ve finished downloading it, but the only .exe is in the crack zip. I got three folders (CD 1, CD 2, CD 2 crack) and a .nfo CD 1&2 folders are filled with flt-vcn1, or 2.0xx with 2 .sfv files.

I know what ur doin wrong KANADIAN, All the named files with numbers by them are game files. You need winrar, start with cd 1. And open winrar, then go to open archive and go to cd 1 folder underneath u need to put all files and u need to extract one of the numbered files, it usually the one at the begining without a number but u can right click it and put open with winrar and inside u should see a bin and a cue, if you do, extract that one to a temporary folder and use nero to burn the bin with the cue. Do the same with cd2.
