Ok so the time has come for a format which I will be doing in the coming weeks but before I do this Im gonna have a little fun owning my comp first:)

The plan is, is to browes the NET install software and click on all kind of shiet WITHOUT a firewall/AV ect. Ill do this for 2/3 days because I want to see how bad it really is out there. I will post a Hijackthis log for all to laugh at when Im done.

Before I do this I would like to know one thing, can having all that crap on my P.C give me formating probs with a boot straight from the XP disk? if so I will not do this.

About the only thing I'd worry about is a bios virus. Get ready for pop ups and browser and system slow downs . The hijackthis log would be a hoot tho! :) Wonder how long you could go before you were shut down completely ?

I don`t think anything is going to happen If you do a fromat from the XP setup disk.

Just make sure you have NO personal/financial info on your puter. Otherwise it's "theirs".

is this a modern version of "he died for our sins" :P

it would be interesting if you could fix the pc with one program afterwards
without reinstall

hey, thats not a bad idea zed
if this is purely a "for the f*ck of it" deal...
try to see what all you can actually fix before formatting expire,
that could be very interesting as well ;)

I have no antivirus or firewall installed, yet i get nothing.

I know it will be hard but for the few days use IE, it will double your install Spyware, or thats what MS says as it installs
