View Full Version : Need help finding a video editing software to cut my movies

Hi I really need help to find a software that i can cut my videos i have download in half to put on 2 disks when they wont fit on one :blink: i have virtual dub but i'm having problems with 2 mpeg files and it wont let me open them inside to do anything with :crying: :wacko: can anyone give me a alternative software. :D

Forgot to say i have tried tmpgenc but i get a message that reads cannot open or unsupported am having a nightmare trying to get this one i'd normally use nero to just convert and burn the file but cause it is too long cant do it :crying:

Do the videos work alright when you play them?

Might be worth going the whole hog and downloading Adobe Premiere :unsure:

Yes works fine and is good picture just cant seem to get any of my converters to do it lol which is typical is adobe premiere good then :lookaroun

Adobe Premiere's a professional quality video editor. As long as you've got the codec for the video (which you should have if you can play it) it should be able to open and edit the video.

Then you can save it in a file format that's legible to other software
