I started a thread awhile back about desktop Acrylic cases and have since then given up and opted for Tower.

There’s three or 4 decent ones within the UK, but what I’m really after is This (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-166-006&depa=1) hawt piece of ass :01:

The only problem is, Newegg don’t ship to the UK, and I can’t find any UK retailers that do it, So does anyone know of any US sites that have the case and ship to the UK? Or better yet, a UK site that has it?

C3 (http://www.clearcomputercase.com/customer_service.htm) ships worldwide.

Found it the other week when I was looking at Orac3 (http://bit-tech.net/article/114/). :hawt:

Here's (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/copy_of_copy_of_Akasa.html) something from the UK.

Still expensive tho' :ermm:

There are more of them elsewhere on the site, like here (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Other_Cases_35.html) for instance.

Only ever looked at the site though, I know nothing about their reliability. the swedish site, if it's the same people, doesn't have any of the good stuff, either

This (http://www.yorkshirecomputers.co.uk/cgi-bin/tekbros/0000091.html) looks okish, once it's built and filled, like :ermm:

But it's not the SunBeam one

Yeah that's something to consider, I've got an acrylic front on mine, and it's already full of fingerprints.

Doesn't look very nice when lit up, I gotta' say.

They've got sunbeams at overclockers.co.uk, but not the transparent one :(

At overclocker.co.uk  they've got even less.

Here's (http://www.clearpc.ca/) a site I found through my amazing google skills, but alas, it's still like 50 buckaroos (for the midtower) more expensive than the newegg sunbeam, and it ain't a sunbeam either.

They ship worldwide.

It's pretty weird the way we manage to find the same links

Me, I'm looking for a small piece of plexiglass to fit the front of my rig, but it's too expensive everywhere I've looked, and the piece I need is much smaller than the smallest bits they sell :(

You'd think this stuff would be easy to get with all the modders out there.

Just 'cos I said that I may have found something for me

Dunno' if you are still looking for one, but I found a place in Sweden that carried sunbeams, only blue ones for the format you wanted and they seem to be out atm, but I can keep a lookout.

Ordered a transparent cover for mine from the same place, 'cos it had very nicely positioned pre-cut 80mm holes and it was the cheapest cover I've ever seen for my computer. I wonder how hard it is to tint it. Maybe I'm just gonna' paint the inside of it white or black

http://www.frozencpu.com/win-112.html the antire cover.

And I have a piece of plexiglass I'm going to replace the front plexi with too, the only bit that won't be acryllic is the front. But like I said, I don't want a clear case, so I'm gonna' try and give it a paintjob.
