Psp Concern

I have a ds that i got for pretty cheap i want everyones opinion of why i should get psp. If i trade in my ds i will get 115 and if i trade mario ds im not sure but i have tons (10) of advance games that im selling for 10 each. Someone please give me pros and cons of psp. :schnauz:

Dunno, its great. I bought the DS the day it came out, with mario DS too. I never liked the DS, just lacked in games and graphics. PSP has some great games, and the graphics are almost as good as the ps2. The only real down side to the PSP is that during the day you cant really play outside, cuase the sun reflects off the screen. Buy the PSP its worth it, i take it to work and where ever i go. I recomment getting NFUS Rivals, its a great game.

However I would wait until it drops in price.

The games are already expensive and teh $250 you spend on the system ain't justified. (the movies aren't worth it either)

Don't let Sony name their price and you follow suit.

The PSP is a great system and blows the DS out of the water. Unfortunately it is overpriced right now.

PSP owns. I suppose it depends on what type of games you like. That, and PSP gots some sweet features. COnnects to internet. View music, movies and books. Hell, even does IRC. Of course, most of the above you need a little hack/pack/whatever. Search google for it. :)

i'm thinking of just skipping the psp and going for a gizmondo, unless it sinks like the n-gage. the vast a majority of psp games will be enhanced then released on the gizmondo.

DS is the best second system because it's so different. PSP and gizmondo are pretty much the same, games wise

Well they have more than 1 but the PSP on the other hand had many good games at lauch ffs.

The gizmondo is a pos, Its basically the ngage with half the graphics of the DS. Thats just shitty. Get a PSP and a cell phone, you be more happier.

You gotta give the DS credit. It gots two screens with touch pad. Its just the varity of games i dont like. PSP is way better in terms of games. Hell, and features. As for the gizmondo, well, i dont know much about it. >_>

Who gives a shit, its a poor excuse for a handheld. Have you seen who develops for them? Pos companys or there own studio. Thats just lame, it dosent even contend at all.

i don't know about the situation in the rest of the world but in the UK if mobile companies stop being such a rediculous rip-off (gprs=2MB for £1, or vica versa :unsure: ) gizmondo will be the system to go with, even though it looks like one of those £5 plug and play things

Okay now i decided to get a psp but, i want to know one last thing what the hell is wlan and will i be able to connect the psp to online threw my wireless router
i have a US Robotics 802.11g Wireless Turbo Router
if anyone knows if i will be able to play twisted metal or anyother game online PLEASE HELP.!!

LOL, I think u have to enable WLAN on ur router but idk what it means yet.

Yea with your wireless router, you will set up the psp like you would you nic on you comp. Put the info in (ip, subnet, dns, ect..) and it should pick it up.

Depends on what you're doing. If you have everything on full (brightness, volume etc) and use speakers and not head/earphones then yeah, it's pretty shite (3 hours max i'd say).

If you play it normally though, you could probably get at least 5-6 hours game time. Sony'll probably release an improved battery later anyway

5-6 hours doesnt sound all that long lol. Then again, if its using its own batteries and not the standard AA sized ones, then its OK as I wouldnt have to keep my battery recharger running 24/7 ;)
