Hey i watched this movie recently and i would have to this movie is the best movie ever not only is it compelling in its own sub-plots and situations but the director, David Fincher (Se7en, The Game, Panic Room) does a grade A job on this, i cant say it was perfect but he was up there. The Lighting, Music, Angles etc all great and who could forget the amazing performances by Edward Norton and Brad Pitt... truely a movie to remember...

If you look on the IMDB forums you will see that 99.1% of the people there agree with me..

Awesome show.

It about time Brad Pitt won something for his acting, everyone just thinks he's a pretty boy.

I'm not disagreeing just to be an ass but it was actually one of the few times that I didn't enjoy the book as much as the film*. I'm not sure why that was, I don't think the book was written very well in my opinion. The idea was brilliant though and it translated so well to the big screen (better in my view).

Of course my view is slightly warped by the fact that I saw the film first but still there was not a lot of meat and bones in the book.

*You won't get an English student admitting that very often...

yeah the films is ok, but it left out a few scenes that were in the book, like the cooking of the girls mom into soap, and the ending
