monitors and brain tumors

Ok, I was thinking,
in varius places, mostly TV I've heard cases where people get brain tumors and this is related to the time spent on the PC monitor.
Well, is this true?.
To all this, is an LCD monitor better.
Does it reduces this posibility.

i've never heard of this, i doubt there's enough radiation coming from a monitor to ever give you a tumor. Spending too much time in front of a computer can give you strained eyes, and clicky wrists, but nothing nearly as fatal.

You're more likely to get cancer from eating that shoe polish stuff cleverly hidden in your Pot Noodle

LCD monitors do help with the eye strain thing, though
