None of them work (very well), your download speed is as fast as it will go. You might gain 2kb/s but say if you have 1mb your never gonna go faster than 130kb/s. Why both adding more crap to your computer.

not true. they work with DDL's when you normally get ~50 kb/s and the server allows multiple connections when you use a DA you get 3 or 4x 50kb/s

you have to watch it though. i once used one that did little more than cache web pages in its own little folder, making them apear to be loading faster.

How often do you use DDL for a file more than 5 mb big? Hardly never, so i would wiat the extra 30 seconds than have some spyware infested pos running in the background.

i mean, i still use TCPoptimizer to tweak some of the windows reg settings,
because i am too much of a lazy ass to browse through regedit and do it,
but other than that.....

i recommend you dont use any internet/download accelerators as at least 90% of them have spyware, and dont make much of a difference.

Best thing to do is to optimize/tweak (manually) your OS to suit your internet connection.

Not true. Theres way to 'Uncap' your connection, Although i haven't done it, i have read a lot about it. A site dedicated to uncapping is http://www.tcniso.net/index.php

Interesting to read about, but i dont recommend you do it, as its probably illegal
