Thanks, must get the new version. Firefox is great, no need to even touch Internet Explorer since getting it.

Sorry forgot to say thanx, IKE . But I had to install my extensions again, what a pain. Only one I was concerned about was the network tweak tho. Is it this one ? http://www.bitstorm.org/extensions/ It does n't seem to work .

Any mirrors?
The dl on their homepage is going really slow.

And did anybody else had their extensions not working after the install?

I can't say for sure but "I" lost all my extensions . There was a post about the proper way to update FF , but I'm too lazy to look and I never had a problem before . I was just posting to give others a heads up .

Well that was the strangest thing.... my FF 1.0.2 died last night and refused to open again.
Thought I'd overdone it resources wise and that a system reboot would solve it, but no.
Ended up having to delete the FF cache, the chrome folder... everything to do with cookies and config files.
Finally got FF to start, 5 minutes later, found that 1.0.3 had been released (thanks Ike), downloaded it, uninstalled 1.0.2 and tried to install 1.0.3....

Nothing. It wouldn't even start the install.

Right clicked the 1.0.3 executable, went to properties -> general tab and found a new button called "Unblock".
Next to the button was text saying "This program was downloaded from another computer. Starting it could harm your PC so it has been blocked."

Hit the unblock button and everything worked perfectly.

I love computers.
