I stopped using wmp ages ago, It annoyed me by adding pics to music folders and replacing the covers I already had, and stupid stuff like that. I think it even added to the tags on my mp3s before I turned that off.

Even with all that turned off it's still crap, needs to get codecs all the time, and all kinds of stupid crap.

Videolan and a decent mp3 player pwns wmp any day of the week.

Your right about having to turn of all the crap snny, including the visuals cause they suck all your CPU. I just installed the latest klite codec pack(but not all the codecpack cause there is a lot of shite comes with that :dry: ) and don`t have any problems. :D
