Well some German wrinkly got the job.
I have to ask.
do they pick those closest to death as pope in case they make a bad choice and that way they don't have him around too long, or do they do it because they enjoy the publicity they have been getting. After all they have been getting a run of bad press of late.... well the US catholics have.

thank you for saying that - i couldn't find the exact words as to why he would hmm not be elected.
We live in a free & equal world - the word of god has spread succesfully.

He used to be a nazi apparently
he was in hitler youth, where the kids went camping and sang songs about how 'kewl' hitler was
apparently he is very conservative and that has buggered up women's chances of becoming priests......
 *useless knowledge*

Bienvenido al neuvo papito del mundo, EL symbolo dela Iglesia antigua imperialistica
May the colonies show there undieing faith whilst those that forced the religion on them
fade from "grace" and turn to easier temptations.
Hypocrits.
But why do i feel less passion in this "Election" than to that what goes on in northern americas. When it is infact this "election" which out of some form of "miracle" could actually make a difference for once.
non ego?

As for the actual new pope-guy I, like Sara, was hoping they'd elect someone a bit more progressive. Ah well nvm, he's a bit old too...:sneaky:

I see no reason to change a winning formula.
