Is the nVidia 6600 regular version (non gt) better than the radeon 9800pro? or how does it compare against it ?

yup 6600 is supossedly the best valued video card currently.

I wouldn't bother.
The performance would not be significantly better (if at all) and you'd be investing money in a card that will not carry over to your next build.

That didn't specifically answer my question smart ass.

According to what i saw on a forum linked by google, a few minutes ago; the 9800 pro's performance falls between a 6600 and 6600GT. So then the 6600's performance falls slightly below a 9800, with the the 6600GT beating the the 9800 pro by a little bit also, even with its 128mb bit setup. :blushing:
