hi, id like some software to run some diagnostics on my external drive, its seems to be mucking up some files.

tried it, its an external usb so it doesnt pick it up.

the drive inside is made by fujitsu

Getting errors on files is not always the fault of the drive they are located on. ;)

everything else is fine, its only some files i tranfer to my external drive,
i cant actually copy them off the drive when i take them to my mates.

Are they OK when you copy them back on your own system, either before taking it to your mate's or after?

i cant read them at all no matter where, whether on my systems, girlfirends, dads, brothers. when i go to copy them off, they just stop.
