My friend has a problem with his pc. Well, you should know those dialer thingy which automatically dial IDD numbers and cost you a lot of money. Tried several softwares but sometimes the dialer still there. Anyone knows?

Get AdAware, SpySweeper, or SpyBot.

lol, yeah...

Erm, get NOD32, Adaware, SpyBot S&D, and Spysweeper. THen run them and scan for whatever. THat should get rid of all your dialers, viruses, worms, adware and spyware. After ur clean make sure u constantly have a firewall running. Use FireFox as ur browser. Be SMART about what u download. You know, the basics.

I suppose reinstalling Windows would work but thats kinda pushing it. U dont really need to do all taht to remove a dialer.

Fine, still unsolve. But just using Lavasoft Ad Aware right now (well, scan for virus didnt found anything).

This is the situation. He needs to delete the dial up connection and make new one to prevent this. currently trying to use ms anti spyware.

http://www.hitmanpro.nl/

It's an 18MB big download wich ciontains free version of Ad-aware SE, Webroot SpySweeper, Spybot Search & Destroy, SpywareBlaster en McAfee Stinger. It's packaged and fully configured, it updates itself and runs everything.
In the end you get a full report of everything that has been done (found, moved etc...)

Altough it's in dutch it's quite simple, install and hit start. Then wait till the report is made :01:
