If I wasn't so picky and got cds for other people, I would be dling crap, old and new all the time, since it's so easy to get, especially if you've been collecting for a good time period.

A few notes,like Bucktoof most of my collection is 224k or higher,I also have a lot(1500+) DJ sets that are over a hour long,most recorded from high bit internet radio stations hence those take up a lot of space.

Also I DJ and am probably ancient in age compared to most of you here on this site,I have worked in the Music business since 1976 so I have had time to collect music before many were even born.

One draw back to such a large collection is that it becomes very hard to manage,I have a pretty good system in place but still sometimes find it hard to classify songs
