My computer used to shutdown all by itself when i had windows xp on there
now i have windows xp pro corporate edition and when i shut it down it goes to a screen that says "it is safe to turn of your computer" then i have to push the button. If anyone knows how to change it where it turns off by it self please reply!

Enable Advanced Power Management support:

1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Power Options.

Note: Click Switch to Classic View in Control Panel to more easily follow these steps.

2. Click the APM tab. Note If you are using multiple monitors, the APM tab may not be available.

3. Select Enable Advanced Power Management Support, and then click OK.
