Put Another Beggining Melody

I have Windows XP HE and i wonder if i can change the midi that plays at the beginning with another one, and is there something called Computer Sam that says what u write in the computer?

to change the opening theme sound is easy. just go into the control panel choose sounds, speech, and Audio Devices, then click "change the sound scheme."

Now you can change all of windows' sounds... go to Start Windows and change it whatever .wav file you want. Presto! ;)

how about have a voice that says welcome? Can i do that?

if you can somehow get a .wav file of it. i think that you can use some basic window program (not sure what) to record and save as .wav files. or you can try searching the vast .wav sites on the net and download one that you like.

I've got my opening sound changed to the THX theme... i love it! :D
