I hate optical drives, when they break I never know how to fix them. Never tried the tweezer/screwdriver combo but it sounds cunning :shifty:

What I tend to do is turn off the PC, unplug it from the back for 30 seconds and boot it up (repeat ad. nauseum) - works sometimes but rossco or someone will prolly say that's a placebo.
