Ok I dunno if I'm just being dense here or what, but my new mobo has no vga port

Meaning I can't get to bios to switch to agp, cos I can't plug my monitor in :frusty:

lil help please?

MSI support sucks

you shouldnt need to go into the bios to switch to AGP
just plug the card in, plug the monitor in, done
it will give you video, just laggy because of drivers not being installed yet

-edit- for spelling :P

Only reason to switch would be to disable onboard video, witch is not the case here! :)

Unless it has onboard video with a dvi port (in which case you need a vga adapter), which I find unlikely, you really need a graphics card

Not all mobos come with integrated graphics you know.

If you do have a graphics card, just plug it in

Yeah the 2100 is seriously going to slow down your other stick, dunno' if it's worth having it in.

Well I could try taking it out I guess, I did know it would do that but when I got the 2100 I got my mums b/f to order it for me and he was spose to get me 2700 :frusty:

Anyway, now running Doom 3 at high spec with firefox and soulseek and bitcomet all running too (obviously AV and firewall etc etc too) with no probs.
Just for a giggle I opend Rome total War too to see what would happen, got a bit slow

1 sony dvdr 16x drive I just bet that stops working in warranty period +2 weeks. If it was human crap they wouldn't allow it to be shipped arround the world, why do they make exceptions for electronic crap?

@Gepper.........Of course it is, mines cooler simply because it belongs to me :01:

@Lynx.....Yeah it's a piece of shit that only works when it wants to, but hey, it was free
I mean this puter I got now has actually only cost me £170 :D
