can't play movies within websites

I try to play a song online (web interface), it was using real player, but when its supposed to play, it just says ready, I can't right click it either, I think when I upgraded the codecs, it asked me if I wanted to uninstall real and quicktime player. was taht a mistake?

This could be a firewall problem too. Maybe something is restricting your ability to launch an app that plays the song.

Don't install Quicktime or Real Player.

Use the codecs at http://www.codecguide.com/

They have specific codecs for Real Player (Real Alternative) and Quicktime (Quicktime Alternative) ;)
