How Do You Use Ftp Server?

I've set up bulletproof ftp- to share faster hopefully selected files with my buddies, haven't got a clue how to use or how they would link up to me?
Setup instructions good but how do other people connect to me?

Tell them the address for your server and any passwords you have set (if any).
Then tell them to log in using FTP software.

ftp://LOGIN:PASSWORD@YOUR IP:PORT FTP IS ON/
